LangLink Games is looking for a detail-oriented, responsible, and game-passionate LQA Tester (English into Thai) to join our Tokyo-based team. In this role, you will perform game localization testing to identify and report linguistic, UI, and functional issues, helping ensure that localized game content meets quality expectations for the target market.
You will work closely with project teams to support smooth test execution, bug tracking, regression testing, and quality improvement throughout the testing cycle. Job Summary:
We are hiring a full-time LQA Tester (English to Thai) in Tokyo, Japan. This role focuses on game localization QA, including linguistic testing, UI checks, bug reporting, and regression testing for global game releases.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Execution:
- Execute linguistic, UI, and functional tests according to the test plan, with a focus on text adaptation and translation accuracy
- Identify and document localization bugs, text issues, display problems, and in-game functional issues
- Record bugs in the bug tracking system with detailed descriptions, reproduction steps, and screenshots
Issue Tracking and Verification:
- Track the progress of reported issues and perform regression testing to confirm fixes are properly resolved
- Collaborate with internal team members to complete all testing tasks within the defined scope and timeline
- Support stable and efficient quality delivery across multiple game projects
Learning and Feedback:
- Provide feedback on issues discovered during testing and contribute to process improvement discussions
- Stay open to learning new tools, workflows, and technologies related to localization QA and testing
Reporting and Project Support:
- Submit test reports summarizing test results, issue categories, and overall findings
- Provide language and cultural adaptation suggestions based on project requirements
- Support high standards of localization quality and player experience for Thai-language game releases
Experience & Requirements:
- Native Thai speaker
- At least 1 year of experience in game testing, localization QA, or LQA
- Excellent English communication skills
- Japanese proficiency at JLPT N2 level or above
- Available for on-site work in Tokyo, Japan
- Able to work overtime when required
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills in a multicultural work environment
- Passion for video games and interest in delivering high-quality player experiences
