Join Our Team: Part-Time Game Localization Specialist Wanted!
Are you passionate about video games and skilled in languages? We are looking for talented individuals to join our team as remote and regular localization linguists for a leading player in the game industry. As a linguist, you will be responsible for translating or editing game content, dialogue, and UI text into your native language while ensuring cultural accuracy and consistency, or creating a style guide, or termbase for a game, depending on your role.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in English or Chinese (depending on the source language) and native in target languages: en>ru_RU, en>pt-BR, en>es_419, en>es_ES, en>ID, en>de_DE, en>JA, en>fr_FR, en>TR, en>PL, en>zh_CN, en>AR, zh_CN>en_US, zh_CN>KO, zh_CN>JA
- Strong knowledge of gaming terminology and culture
- Excellent translation or editing skills
- Background in translation, proofreading, or language studies preferred
- Excellent accuracy skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Familiar with memoQ preferred
- Strong work ethic and team player
- Strong sense of purpose and responsibility
- Indomitable and undaunted
Responsibilities:
- Translate or Review in-game text, dialogue, UI, and other content accurately, or create a style guide, or termbase for a game, depending on your role
- Ensure localized content respects cultural nuances
- Collaborate with the team to maintain quality and consistency

- Remote work (Part-time)
- Working hours: Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm (your time zone), 8h per day
- Fixed regular team, stable workload with around 2000 source word per day
- Start time: End of July
