Job Summary:
LangLink Localization is hiring Part-Time Gaming Localization Specialists for long-term In-Game LQA projects. Testers will review localized content in FPS, Open-World, Sci-Fi, and Extraction Shooter games, identifying linguistic, UI, cultural, and functional issues while collaborating with project teams during Japan Standard Time (JST, GMT+9) working hours.
This role is ideal for experienced translators, editors, and localization testers who are passionate about gaming and localization quality.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
✔ Full proficiency in [English] & Target Language mentioned above.
✔ Excellent translation or editing skills. Background in translation, proofreading, or language studies preferred.
✔ Play through pre-release versions of video games to identify language mistakes and cultural inconsistencies.
✔ Provide detailed reports of localization errors, such as typos, grammar issues, and dialogue inaccuracies.
✔ Cultural sensitivity, with the ability to identify content that may be culturally, politically, or religiously sensitive.
✔ High attention to quality, detail-oriented and responsible, have the ability to meet deadlines.
✔ Proactive in learning and providing constructive feedback; good communication with the team.
✔ Able to continuously refine and improve terminology and expressions, while maintaining consistency with style guides and terminology lists.
✔ Ability to work independently and reliably with minimal supervision.
✔ Familiar with TAPD, Jira, or similar issue-tracking systems is a plus.
✔ On-site work availability is a plus. Address: Hatchobori, Chuo City, Tokyo (near Tokyo Station).
