Requirements:
Roles & Responsibilities
✔ Full proficiency in [English] & [German].
✔ Excellent translation or editing skills. Background in translation, proofreading, or language studies preferred.
✔ Play through pre-release versions of video games to identify language mistakes and cultural inconsistencies.
✔ Provide detailed reports of localization errors, such as typos, grammar issues, and dialogue inaccuracies.
✔ Cultural sensitivity, with the ability to identify content that may be culturally, politically, or religiously sensitive.
✔ High attention to quality, detail-oriented and responsible, have the ability to meet deadlines.
✔ Proactive in learning and providing constructive feedback; good communication with the team.
✔ Able to continuously refine and improve Japanese terminology and expressions, while maintaining consistency with style guides and terminology lists.
✔ Experience in in-game localization/LQA testing is a plus.
✔ Ability to work independently and reliably with minimal supervision.
